Black Chicken Soup



It's 2nd  my hubby under a new dieting program. So he should have something that low carb and high protein. So I've cooked chicken soup with vegetable for him at it's called Black Chicken Soup as the chicken's skin is black color. I've  used this chicken because it's very suitable for herbal soups and low in fat. (The chicken is have white feather and black skin inside).

These are the ingredient :
1 whole black chicken (optional) -cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon fennel seed
1 tablespoon coriander seed
1 table spoon black cumin
1/2 tablespoon black pepper seed
1 inch ginger
6 glove of garlic
3 small onions (Spanish onions or other)
1 medium sized carrot
1 potato (it's for me, he's not allow to take carb)
Handful cabbage (option)
Salt


Method :
1. Finely ground fennel seed, coriander seed, black cumin, black pepper seed, ginger, garlic, onions. Make it as paste.
2. In the soup pot- put in the chicken, the spice paste, potato, salt and water. Then heat the pot. 
3. Let it boil until the chicken cooks. Put your carrot and cabbage in the last 10 minutes before you switch off the flame.
4. Serve.

Lempeng Rangup



Jikalau anda mempunyai kari ayam atau kuah dhal berlebihan, bolehlah dibuat lempeng sebagai sarapan pagi. Resipi ini adalah untuk seseorang yang malas membeli sarapan pagi di luar. Cara membuat lempeng ini adalah amat senang kecuali anda menambah beberapa item lain dalam resipi ini.

3 cawan tepung gandum
1/2 cawan tepung beras
2-3 titik warna kuning (boleh tukar warna lain)
garam sebukupnya
air secukupnya (adunan haruslah cair)

Masukan tepung gandum, tepung beras dan garam.
Masukan air dan jadikan ia sebagai aduan yang cair
Titik warna kuning dan kacau aduan tersebut
Untuk menjadikan adunan ini lebih halus, tapis adunan ini menggunakan bekas penapis.
Gunakan periuk leper non-stick untuk lempeng ini.
Bentukkan adunan ini seperti bentuk bulat dan lempeng ini harus masak dua kedua belahnya.
Setelah warna lempeng semakin berubah kepada kening keperangan, angkat dan hidang.

It's has been long time didn't update chitty boy's picture. This picture taken yesterday when he try to cuddle in blancet and also playing with his favourite ball. He is a good poser!!!!

Cempedak Fruit aka Artocarpus Integer

Another seasonal fruit that local like to eat. Normally i just dipped it in batter and fry it. Simple mixture of butter is usually wheat flour, rice flour, salt and turmeric powder. Once a while, have tea with fried cempedak is pleasure.

Mencepu Fruit

Another exotic fruit season at my home town. Mencepu fruit taste sour but there's a sweetness in that soury taste. The fruit is green colour and it turn to reddish yellow when it's ripe. It's quite expensive because it's very rare to get and it's a seasonal fruit.

Mince Chicken with Chili and Petai

I always have extra boneless chicken  in fridge so i've attempt to used it as mince chicken  as i don't have what to do with it.This is a very easy dish and does not take a lot ingredient and time. It's suitable as add up with plain rice porridge or rice as well.



Ingredient :
-Some boneless chicken ( steam and chop it into very small pieces)
-3 stalk of Petai
-15 dry chilies ground with little water and 4 pieces of garlic (makes it  paste)
-Cooking Oil
-Salt

Method :
-Put some cooking oil into the pan.
-Pour the chilies paste into the oil and stir it a while until all the oil absorbed by the paste.
-Add petai and saute for a while then finally put in the mince chicken.
-Mince chicken will blend with the chili paste and it should be dry dish.
-Ready to serve.

Plain and Empty

It has been 4 months i didn't update my blog. During this period, i've just read what other wrote and end up become silent reader. We have another 1 month plus to celebrate new year and it would be crusial year for me as i need to think more ahead regarding family, financial and health. I've started writing new year resolutions but planning to earn more money has been on my mind recently. I've thinking about :
1. selling product (but i'm not good in persuade people into buying product),
2. into food business like baking or cooking (who want to buy my food as others like to  claim their cooking is the best-praise themselve)
3. tailoring (i don't like to touch threads but it is a very good business nowadays)

I have no idea what to do!!!!
